  About Naturally Sadie
The series follows the adventures of aspiring naturalist Sadie Hawthorne. With a year of high school under her belt, 14-year-old Sadie has finally come out of her shell, but she still believes the world can be understood in scientific terms. So with magnifying glass in one hand and lip-gloss in the other, Sadie is out to prove that being smart is the new cool.

Naturally Sadie is produced by Toronto's Decode Entertainment and airs on The Family Channel. Producer Kevin May has produced many popular children's series including Strange Days at Blake Holsey High, Straight Up and The Famous Jett Jackson, which won a Gemini Award for Best Youth Drama Series. www.familychannel.ca

"From a storytelling point of view, it's a great show," said juror Frank Dietz of the German children's television network Super RTL. "This perfectly reflects the kinds of feelings and emotions kids go though at her age. I think it's a great program to show kids that this kind of phenomenon- what happens with the body, and the physical and mental development at this time of life-is absolutely the way it should be. It's a lovely concept."

"I liked Naturally Sadie because it has education, entertainment and values. In the show Naturally Sadie, you learn just to be yourself, and not be another person."
